Simon Cowell's fiancée Lauren Silverman flashes huge engagement ring as they leave BGT

Simon Cowell and his wife-to-be Lauren Silverman looked blissfully happy together leaving the Britain's Got Talent studios together, following the show's first live semi-final on Monday night.

Lauren, 44, beamed as she flashed her huge engagement ring sat alongside the music mogul in the backseat of a car, after Simon and his fellow judges helped picked the ITV show's first finalists earlier in the evening.

The mum-of-one, who shares son Eric, 8, with the X Factor creator, looked stunning in a chic ensemble consisting of strapless leopard print bustier and a black blazer draper over her shoulders.

Lauren looked glowing with her minimal makeup look and her brunette tresses swept to one side - accessorizing with some gold jewellery and chic designer watch.

Clutching a bottle of beer next to his fiancée, Britain's Got Talent judge Simon cut an equally dapper figure - donning a smart dark suit and a crisp white shirt, with several buttons undone to give a flash of some chest hair.

Simon and Lauren are rumoured to be tying the knot in London later this year - with the groom's pal and fellow Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams promising a very wild stag do for the dad-of-one if he's called to organise one.

"I would organise it but I don't think he will really want me to. I don't think our tastes would align on a stag night," David explained when discussing his friend's nuptials with The Sun earlier this month.

"I would do something like a drag stag, where I say all guys have to go in drag, and I don't think that is what Simon would actually like."

The Little Britain star went on to admit that he "genuinely" doesn't know the exact date of the happy couple's wedding - claiming he hasn't received an invite yet because he believes only the bride and groom know "when and where" it is going to be so far.

Simon and Lauren first met in Barbados' Sandy Lane resort in 2004, back when she was holidaying with her then-husband, real estate mogul Andrew Silverman.

Years later, following Lauren's split from her husband and Simon's failed engagement to Mezhgan Hussainy, the two reconnected and begun a romance - with the pair welcoming son Eric into the world together on 14 February 2014.

Last month, it was reported that Simon was edging into a form of "semi-retirement", as he vows to spend more time with his future wife and their son.

"His back injury from the bike accident in 2020 and the pandemic have made him refocus his life and at 62 Simon knows he is not getting any younger," a source close to the star told the Mirror in April.

"Someone like Simon will find it hard to let go and not work but for him this is like edging into a kind of semi-retirement. He won’t be working every day and will pick and choose his work a lot more going forward."

In addition to raising young Eric, Simon is also a stepfather to Lauren's teenage son Adam Silverman from her first marriage.
