Simon Cowell's changing face after dramatic change to diet sees star shed pounds

Simon Cowell' s face has seriously changed over the years.

The father-of-one, 62, is almost unrecognisable from his days on Pop Idol after making a drastic change to his diet - and dabbling with botox.

In before and after pics, the millionaire's face was far fuller when he started out in the showbiz world - but now he looks unrecognisable with a dramatically chiselled jawline.

Just over three years ago, the X Factor judge decided to overhaul his unhealthy lifestyle and threw himself into veganism.

The wake-up call came following a terrifying incident at his home in Los Angeles.

The celebrity judge collapsed and fell down the stairs in 2017, and was rushed to hospital with fears that he'd broken his neck.

The star made a full recovery, but it was a heck of a red fag for the former chain-smoker, who admitted he hadn't been a paragon of health beforehand.

Following years of piling on the pounds, fans were stunned to see the star's transformation as he emerged with his slimmed down figure and taut face.

Simon also got his teeth fixed and even his eyes looked different - but that may have been the botox.

Fans couldn't get over the star's new look on the America's Got Talent a few years ago when he appeared to have had a bit of nip/tuck.

According to The Sun, the talent show boss said that he was forced to stop when his odd appearance left son Eric, eight, "in hysterics".

He said: "There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other".

Simon went on to admit he may have over-egged the pudding in a bid to stay forever young.

He said: 'I saw a picture of me from "before" the other day, and didn't recognise it as me first of all'.

The entrepreneur said that he decided to finally stop using the injectables when his son Eric noticed his changing profile: "He was in hysterics. Enough was enough," he confessed.

The TV personality looks a lot more natural now and recently insisted: "There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero."

However, whether the star will have a little top-up ahead of his forthcoming wedding to Lauren Silverman remains to be seen...
