Simon Cowell relies on son Eric, 8, for feedback on his shows as he's 'normally right'

Simon Cowell has teased that his son Eric Cowell is opinionated when it comes to his father's career, with the music mogul adding that the youngster is "normally right".

The entrepreneur, 63, spoke about his son, eight, whilst on Loose Women this afternoon. He was asked during the interview whether Eric shares his opinion about things.

The father-of-one responded: "Oh my god, yes." Simon, who shares Eric with fiancée Lauren Silverman, 45, added: "Non-stop by the way. [...] He's got his own opinions."

"I've got a good idea about what he's gonna be when he's older," the TV producer said. Simon added: "He's his own man which is really, really important. He's a sweetheart."
