Simon Cowell has recorded his first video since the horror accident that nearly left him paralysed.
He broke his back in three places and needed emergency surgery after falling off electrical bike in Malibu back earlier this year.
The music mogul, 61, has kept a low profile since his accident, only appearing in the background of friends' social media posts.
But he's now recorded a clip to encourage his fans to support a charity close to his heart.
He urged them to donate to the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, saying they could be in with a chance with meeting him at the Britain's Got Talent finals next year if they made a donation.
Simon appeared subdued in the video as he relaxed on his outdoor sofa in the gardens of his plush Malibu mansion.
The BGT judge sat in the sunshine as he donned a grey t-shirt and some blue jeans while he spoke to the camera.
He said: "Hi everyone, it's Simon Cowell.
"I'm asking you all tonight to help a really, really important charity which is close to my heart, the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, which was introduced to me by my good friend Leona Lewis.
"If you donate tonight, anything you do donate will actually make a difference, and you get a chance to join me, with your friends, at the BGT finals and meet me and the rest of the judges."
He then encouraged his fans to download the Wishio app to donate.
Simon suffered a serious fall from a new electric bike he was testing at his house in August.
He reportedly missed snapping his spinal cord "by a centimetre" and had six hours of surgery after his accident.
The dad-of-one had to pull out of the Britain's Got Talent live shows and was replaced by Ashley Banjo.
