Simon Cowell 's latest talent show The X Factor: Celebrity will have a second series.

The music mogul, who recently turned 60, has revealed that the start-studded spin-off will return to TV next year.

The father-of-one also dished that the series, that has been aired on ITV since 2004, could be on a different TV network as he has had an offer from a competing channel for the show.

When asked if The X Factor : Celebrity will be making a return, Simon told new magazine: "As an idea we would be crazy not to do a second series.

"Funnily enough, I've had an offer from another network to take it. So, to answer your question, it will be on next year."

The star also boasted that he calculated the viewing figures for the talent show as "about six to seven million a week."
