Simon Cowell confirms Amanda Holden will sing on BGT after landing £1million record deal

Amanda Holden will be showcasing her own talents on Britain's Got Talent, Simon Cowell has revealed.

But fans will have to wait until after the Champions version airs to hear Amanda's soaring vocals.

During an interview on Lorraine today, the 59-year-old media mogul confirmed that he had asked Amanda to sing to the ITV show.

This comes after she landed a £1million record deal with Virgin EMI following her viral singing video.

Amanda was seen singing The Greatest Showman's Tightrope, which led to a bidding war between record companies Warner, Sony and Universal.

The video also featured her two daughters and views soared to 1.5M views, grabbing the attention of music execs, now allowing her to embark on her own music career.

"He's asked me whether I want to sing on BGT next year and I've said yes," Amanda revealed.

"Providing it's live," Simon quipped.

Amanda exclaimed: "Of course it's live!"

"Are you going to audition for all of us now?" Simon asked, to which Amanda simply replied "no".

"I just signed a deal with Virgin, I don't need to audition," Amanda replied.

Simon cheekily retorted: "We have to go through that process."

"We're beyond auditioning, darling," Amanda replied.
