Simon Cowell is planning to dip his hands into his deep pockets to pay for a lavish revamp of his London mansion.
The luxurious estate - worth an astounding £15.2 million - is set to undergo a massive refurbishment for the first time since he snapped it up in 2018.
The 60-year-old music mogul plans to introduce a snazzy outdoor swimming pool complete with changing rooms in the garden oghis seven-bedroom pad in Wimbledon.
Simon is also set to fit the mansion with a top of the line security system to ensure his place is guarded at all times.
The X Factor judge has also applied to extend his existing sunroom by 6.2 square metres, according to The Sun Online .
The house's new elements are designed to make the building more family-friendly.

Simon's family includes his live-in partner Lauren Silverman and son Eric.
Simon wants to give the mansion a major revamp to its windows, as well as adding a new bin and bike storage centre on the grounds.
But his plans may be put on hold amid growing concerns surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.

Simon recently admitted to being worried about it himself, saying he’s keen to take precautions for his six-year-old son.
Speaking to The Sun's Dan Wootton on his talkRADIO show, Simon discussed his concerns over the killer virus.
"I am terrified about it. I have worn masks for ages. When I cycle around town I wear a mask," he confessed.
Simon also revealed that he and son Eric will "100 per cent be wearing masks”.

Discussing his fears, Simon continued: "I wouldn't want to be on a cruise ship right now. Those people stuck on that cruise ship.
"Why they haven’t taken them off and put them in a proper hospital is unbelievable.
"That’s somewhere I wouldn't go."
