Simon Cowell and David Walliams finally reunite as they arrive for Britain's Got Talent

Simon Cowell and David Walliams were as ready as ever as they arrived for Britain's Got Talent.

The stars arrival at The London Palladium on Sunday marks the first day of filming for the new series.

The 62-year-old kept things casual as he got out of the taxi cab wearing his trademark light blue jeans and a grey jumper.

Considering the talent competition was cancelled last year due to the ongoing pandemic, it's no surprise the judges look happy to find new talent.

Fellow judge David followed the same casual theme as he stepped out in jeans, a simple black t-shirt and a green bomber jacket.

The comedian had on a black face mask as he followed Covid-19 safety guidelines.

David also shared a sweet snap on Twitter of the two posing as they reunited for the show.

"Reunited," he captioned the post and tagged Simon. The duo had their arms around each other as they smiled for the camera.

David had changed from his casual outfit to a suave black suit.

Host Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly also looked over the moon as they arrived for filming.

The two arrived separately but carried a bag with them as they headed inside.

Their arrival on Sunday comes after it was revealed by Mirror that Simon agreed to remain on Britain's Got Talent until 2025.

ITV have extended the programme's deal by an extra year, so fans get to witness another four series at least.

A source close to him said: “He is showing no signs of slowing down and is working on lots of American projects too.”

His work on this year's BGT will be his first appearance on British television since the show's auditions in May 2020.

Simon also recently got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Lauren Silverman.

The TV mogul popped the question while on holiday in Barbados with their son Eric, seven, and Lauren’s older son Adam, 16, from a previous relationship.

In a video obtained by The Sun, Simon was asked to confirm the engagement news and he responded: “What do you think?”

The man offered his congratulations to the happy couple, and a delighted Simon sweetly replied: “I really appreciate that.”
