Simon Cowell and David Walliams come to blows at BGT auditions in row over kids names

Britain's Got Talent judges Simon Cowell and David Walliams locked horns at the latest auditions - in front of a live audience.

The pair were heard bickering after Simon referred to David's son Alfred as Bertie, which is the comedian's dog's name.

Following a performance from a children's entertainer at the London Palladium this week, Simon quipped to David: "Why don’t you book her for your son Bertie’s next birthday?”

An unimpressed David replied: "Bertie is my dog. I would expect you to know the name of my son.

"If you bothered to send a card or a present ..."

Simon, 60, then accused David, 48, of once making the same error with his own son.

"You called Eric Squiddly once, if you remember?", said Simon, according to The Sun.

The pair then came to blows for a second time that day over climate change issues as David took a shot at Simon over his lavish holidays.

It came after a children's choir performed a song about global warming and saving trees.

Turning to his co-judge David, Simon retorted: "I hope, off the back of this David, that you don’t use your helicopter any more to come to work.

“Take a little sign from these kids and think, you know what, cycle.”

David then swiped: "I have seen a picture of you on a jet ski. You flew here today by private jet and you are ten minutes away by car."

Fans accused Simon of losing his sense of humour during the last series of Britain's Got Talent.

Tensions seemed to be running high between David and Simon during the live shows and in one episode, the reality TV supremo even stormed off stage.

It came as Simon was pulled from the judging desk to take part in ventriloquist Jimmy Tamley's act.

He was asked to wear a fake mask as Tamley spoke for him in a silly voice.

Simon appeared increasingly annoyed until he was asked to can-can dance and eventually stomped off the stage.
