Simon Cowell almost cancels Britain's Got Talent's 'most dangerous act ever' as sword stunt goes wrong

Britain’s Got Talent has a history of dangerous and life-threatening acts hoping to shock their way through to the live shows.

We’ve had chainsaw jugglers, impossible balancing acts and escape artists all unnerving the judges and audience to varying degrees - but they’re nothing compared to this.

In the first episode of the ITV talent show, they are met with a pair of daredevil brothers who attempt a dangerous sword stunt.

The new series, which starts tomorrow, sees the Vardanyan Brothers, aged 28 and 32, both put the handles of swords in their mouths, before grabbing each other's hands and vaulting into a handstand position.

They then attempt to do the impossible by balancing each other on the tips of the swords in their mouths - but fail and jump back down onto the mat.
