Ever since the overhaul of the UK’s travel rules, announced last Friday, many of our travel plans feel up in the air as we scramble to research the rules - as they are now, and from 4 October onwards.
With the imminent introduction of a “ROW” (rest of world) list to sit alongside the red list, and green and amber to be scrapped, the rules on where we can and can’t go are finally becoming simpler.
On top of which, Monday saw the announcement that the US travel ban is finally to be lifted this autumn for double vaccinated travellers from the UK and elsewhere.
But which date will we be able to fly to the US again? Will unvaccinated children still be banned? And when in “late October” might PCR testing be scrapped for day two tests?
