A silver Mercedes ended up crashing into bushes by the side of a busy road this afternoon after a collision between three vehicles.
Police were called to the incident, on the A538 near the Manchester Airport tunnels today, December 14.
At the scene, Wilmslow police and officers from the Cheshire roads and crime unit found a silver Mercedes badly damaged in the bushes beside the road.
The driver of the vehicle, which was pictured with a crushed front bonnet, also failed a drugs wipe, with a positive indication for cocaine.
They were arrested and taken to hospital.
There were only minor injuries sustained.
A tweet shared this evening by the Wilmslow police read: "3 vehicle RTC attended by Wilmslow Police and Cheshire RCU earlier on A538 near the airport tunnels.

"Driver of this vehicle failed the roadside drugs wipe with a positive indication for cocaine. Arrested and taken to hospital #OpJingles."
OpJingles is the name of a new initiative manned by Cheshire police, aiming to clamp down on crime over the festive period throughout Cheshire.
Throughout the Christmas and New Year period officers will also be targeting crimes including car theft – and educating people on what they can do to keep their property safe.
Superintendent Laura Marler, who is overseeing the Constabulary’s Christmas operation, said: “The aim of #OpJingles is to deter criminals, catch those who are responsible for crime, minimise disruption across the county and keep people feeling safe and reassured over the festive period.
“I want to reassure people that we remain resolute in our pursuit of those who believe they are above the law will ensure they are held accountable for the crimes they have committed."
