July 21--Actor Josh Brener of "Silicon Valley" fame and his wife, actress Meghan Falcone, have paid $1.2 million for a home in the Beachwood Canyon area of Hollywood Hills.
Originally built in 1946, the renovated ranch-style home has a Midcentury vibe with open-area living spaces, a wall fireplace and walls of windows. Set off the public rooms, an oversized balcony takes in canyon views.
Within nearly 2,100 square feet of space are living and dining rooms, an open-space kitchen with a tiled backsplash and a lower-level media room. The master suite has an updated bathroom for a total of four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Outdoors, a raised deck has a sitting area and a Jacuzzi spa. Elsewhere is a two-car garage.
The house came on the market in February for $1.225 million, records show. A year ago, it sold for $930,000.
