Silentnight offering Scots £300 to test drive their range of comfy bed products

Silentnight is looking to pay Scots to watch Netflix from the comfort of their bed as five new ‘dream jobs’ become available.

The firm is looking for professional snoozers to give their honest opinions on a range of comfy products - such as mattresses, duvets, pillows and mattress toppers.

Members of the 'Pyjama Army' will be sent their own bespoke ‘snuggle bundle’ worth up to £600 of items which are designed based on the individual’s height, weight and shape.

The role will involve working nights and early mornings, with some 'undercover' work thrown in.

It has been described as the only job in the world where you can have a nice kip while on shift.

Successful applicants will be paid £300 to take part and will have a free year-long Netflix subscription thrown in there.

Scots interested in the position will have to write a short personal statement detailing why they are perfect in the role.

Bosses at Silentnight are looking to hear about all the times you’ve been late for work after sleeping through the alarm clock.

They’re also keen to listen to your own top tips for a good night’s sleep.

Silentnight's Kat Collins said: “We’re looking for a new ‘pyjama army’ to provide vital feedback on our products.

"Sleepers come in all shapes and sizes, with different wants, needs and personal preferences, so our ‘snuggle bundles’ will be bespoke to each recruit.”

"Of course, the role involves working nights, early mornings and some undercover work," Silentnight added.

“We’re looking for applicants who take sleep seriously," Collins said.

"If you can’t resist a siesta in the afternoon, if you’re the type of person who spends all day counting down the hours until bedtime, or if you find yourself hitting snooze on your alarm clock every morning, this is your moment.”

Scots must be over the age of 18 and be a UK resident to apply.

Entries must be submitted by December 1.
