Silent Hill f: The Great Space Invasion! Posters, Movie Review, and UFO Broadcast location

It's not Silent Hill without a joke ending, and The Great Space Invasion! in Silent Hill is just that. When the first of the series meets the second, you get a Shiba Inu piloting a spacecraft. Utilizing manga to tell the short but sweet story where Shu and Hinako's Space Wars are brought to life, The Great Space Invasion! is a welcoming conclusion to an otherwise disturbing tale.

With five endings to Silent Hill f, you likely don't want to complete a new playthrough to see every conclusion. Thankfully, The Great Space Invasion! ending can be obtained within the first two hours of the game. Here's everything you need to know about those foreign objects floating around Ebisugaoka. Is there any truth to their tale?

How to listen to the UFO Broadcast in Silent Hill f

What's a tad confusing about this ending is that the conditions list multiple broadcasts in the Endings tab on the Main Menu. But with only one broadcast to listen to, you can find it in a sneaky area during the "Avoid the monsters and move ahead" objective. You must listen to it here as it leads directly to the next step of picking up the UFO Posters; before you reunite with Shu, complete the Field puzzle, and find Rinko.

Where to find all The Great Space Invasion! Posters in Silent Hill f

You can get this ending in the objective "Catch up with Shu and Rinko." You must pick up the posters in chronological order to activate this ending. While you can click on them in any random order, they only count when you see the short cutscenes of flying objects above Ebisugaoka.

Here are all poster locations:

  • UFO Poster [1]: Located in the crop fields when you're heading to Rinko's house. This is right before the first giant monster appears, and you have to rotate the well wheel three times to get a key. You need to move the knocked-over structure near this building to reach the poster on the wall. Beware of the scarecrow monsters that jump around the fields.
  • UFO Poster [2]: Keep playing until you meet up with Shu and Rinko, then follow them south, towards the School. Continue following Shu and Rinko until you reach a shrine where a stronger version of the mannequin-like monster spawns in on a narrow passage near it. The poster is right next to this shrine.
  • UFO Poster [3]: Backtrack to the alley where you got the cutscene about the monsters blocking the path outside Chizuruya General Store (prompting the trio to head in the other direction). Go to the building nearest to the alley entrance, just beyond a blue flag on the floor, and locate the final poster. You would have passed this initially, as it's on the same side as the crop field.

Where is the Movie Review in Silent Hill f?

The final step to achieve this ending is to locate the Movie Review. This is right outside Chizuruya General Store, where you met Shu, Rinko, and Sakuko at the start of the game. This is to the right of the alley from the third UFO Poster's location (when you look in the direction of the School and your current objective).

Appearing as a simple sheet on paper on the ground in front of the store, you need to get past the various enemies in the area, pick up the review and back out of the reading screen to activate the ending. There is no need to fight these monsters, so beeline for the store's front door and grab this before the enemies grab you.

You can pick this ending up when the objective is "Catch up with Shu and Rinko." Remember to manually save before you activate The Great Space Invasion!, that way you can reload and continue where you left off if you still have other endings to get.
