'Signing needed!' West Ham fans issue Carlos Sanchez transfer demand after horror show

West Ham United suffered a 4-1 defeat against Manchester City on Wednesday and it's safe to say the result left fans fuming.

The day had started so well with the announcement of Sebastien Haller's £45m move to the capital as he made the switch from Eintracht Frankfurt.

Haller became the Hammers' most expensive signing ever in the process but following the heavy loss to Man City, another West Ham player was the focal point.

The unfortunate figure was Carlos Sanchez, who began trending post-match following a woeful display. The Colombian was far too slow on the ball and was a passenger during his time on the field.

This is something which hasn't go unnoticed by West Ham fans, who have since ripped into the 33-year-old for his performance. The majority are demanding he leaves the club sooner rather than later, while others explain that his display highlights the need for the club to buy another defensive midfielder.
