Arsenal fans have taken to social media and are reacting to a potential transfer hint regarding Thomas Partey.
The Atletico Madrid midfielder has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium - stretching all the way back to before the summer window even opened - but will cost his full £45m release clause.
However, with just a few hours remaining until the window closes, time is running out for the Gunners to seal a late deal for the Ghana international.
And deadline day started with some bad news as The Athletic stated that a move for the 27-year-old looked unlikely as Arsenal have struggled to match the £45m asking price due to not being able to sell their fringe players to raise funds
Fast forward a few hours and the situation might have changed.
It would appear that Arsenal fans been given a major clue that Partey could very well become Mikel Arteta's fifth signing this summer.
This is after Samuel Zigah, who is Partey's Public relations officer, has teased a possible deal with a cryptic hint on social media.

Speaking after Arsenal's 2-1 win over Sheffield United on Sunday, Arteta admitted the club would push to complete some last-minute deal before the window shuts.
"Believe me, the ownership and the board and doing everything they can to maximise the resources and make this club successful," he said. "I have 100 per cent backing for them. Whatever we can do, they are willing to do it, to support us.
“Whatever we can add of course we will do it. But we have to be realistic. The people here are supportive."
