Sign installer 1: "Hey look, Dudley is spelt wrong. We better take this back to the depot."
Sign Installer 2: "That's not our job. Our job is to put the sign up."
Sign Installer 1: "But it's wrong, we'll have to take it down later anyway."
Sign Installer 2: "So when they ask us to take it down, that's what we'll do."
And that, people, is how Chernobyl happened. Lucky this is a sign and not a nuclear reactor, hey.
Wonder if the person responsible for the howler gets a nuclear reaction from their boss.
Sizzler Memories
The Newcastle Knights used to chow down for free at Sizzler.
Matty Johns shared a yarn about those days on his podcast, following news that the restaurant chain's nine remaining Australian restaurants will close by mid-November.
Matty said Sizzler used to sponsor the Knights. The players had cards that allowed them to eat for free.
"I used to go there for basically brunch, later lunch and sometimes dinner," he said.
The Roosters had a similar deal with Criniti's Italian restaurant chain.
"They had to stop it because too many boys were taking their families along and having big feeds," Matty's son Jack said.
Matty replied: "Don't worry there was a bit of that going on with us, too [at Sizzler]."
Matty revealed his go-to meals at Sizzler were pasta with potato skins and havarti chicken with shrimp.
"I'd just run the cheese toast right through the Thousand Island sauce," he said.
Sizzler has been hit hard during the pandemic.
The salad bar was clearly a no-go. Customers had to order off the menu from their tables.
Matty said he once saw a person at Cessnock "actually picking off the salad bar".
His wife Trish replied: "What, picking and putting it straight in their mouth?"
Matty: "Yep."
Matty added that he saw a pensioner tipping food into a Tupperware container at Sizzler.
Think Safety

People like to be safe, but sometimes they want a bit of danger.
But can they do both at the same time?
Enter stage left, Joe Rider.
Motorists have been "invited to spot Joe Rider" and report their sightings for the "chance to win a daily gift voucher".
A group of Hunter councils are behind this promotion "as part of Motorcycle Awareness Month".
Councils are pretty keen on their health and safety, which is fair enough.
And if you ask us, a high-vis vest over a leather jacket is cool and safe.
No doubt about it, everyone should look out for riders.
But we sure have come a long way from the days of Easy Rider.
