
A craftsman produces porcelain summer wind-bells at the Ichikawatozan pottery in Imari, Saga Prefecture. The bells feature a high tone and clear sound. At the pottery, all the procedures such as molding, painting and firing are done by hand. According to the craftsman, the bells went into production earlier than usual because this summer will be hotter. Ichikawatozan plans to produce about 800 bells by around September.
