'Sign him up!' Chelsea fans all have same response to Luka Jovic strike

Chelsea fans had mixed feelings about the first goal of the clash against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Frankfurt took the lead thanks to a delightful goal from striker Luka Jovic. The 21-year-old had no right to score with a header from almost the edge of the penalty box as Kepa Arrizabalaga was left stranded.

But rather than let disappointment engulf them, Chelsea fans saw an opportunity to point out just how good the forward is and why he must be signed during the summer transfer window.

There has been endless talk in the last few months about what Chelsea will do with their forward options for next season but one thing is for certain, Chelsea fans want Jovic.

Jovic has scored 26 goals this season for Frankfurt so if Chelsea do make a play for his services, they might well have their work cut out for them, with top sides across Europe keeping tabs on the forward.

Luka Jovic to Chelsea: What Frankfurt star has planned for his future amid transfer links

Whether Jovic actually signs for Chelsea remains to be seen. He is happy in Germany at the moment and would certainly stay with the club if they were to win the Europa League and play in the Champions League next term.
