Bristol City fans have given their backing to Benik Afobe following his latest milestone.
The Robins signed the striker on loan from Stoke City in the summer but a knee injury in September saw him require surgery.
Yesterday, four months to the day after going under the knife, the popular striker completed his first run on the grass, posting a video of himself doing step-overs and keppy-uppies.
Robins fans were delighted to see their striker back in boots, and salivated over the thought of a front-line including the 26-year-old, January signing Nahki Wells and Famara Diedhiou.
Sue Cornes: Looking good Benik, hopefully won’t be long before you're doing this on the pitch again.
David Veale: Definitely a red now and the club should do all they can to bring in him permanently.
