'Sign Bissouma!' - Arsenal transfer wish made clear as wonderkid reacts to Gabriel announcement

Transfer news is very much on the mind of many Arsenal fans.

That should come as no surprise following a rather hectic week of activity at the Emirates Stadium, with the summer window officially opening on June 9, 2021.

Whilst there have been no new arrivals - or exits - as yet, it would appear that it is only a matter of time before Arsenal start rolling out the announcements.

As previously reported by football.london, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta and technical director Edu are working closely together in a bid to bolster the first-team squad with as many as five signings.

With that said, football.london understands that they have submitted offers for four players across the past week.

One of which was a £40m bid for Brighton and Hove Albion defender Ben White that was rejected, but the Gunners intend to return with a second offer as they look to secure the 23-year-old's signature relatively quickly.

Brighton are said to be looking to secure around £50m for White, although Arsenal are hopeful of finding a compromise, with their second bid likely to be around the £45m mark.

Meanwhile, a bid also went in for Anderlecht's central midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga and there is also some interest in James Maddison of Leicester City.

Although, all of that activity isn't enough for one Arsenal fan.

After Gabriel Magalhaes reacted to the announcement of his call-up to the Brazil squad for this summer's Olympic Games, Arsenal wonderkid Luigi Gaspar - son of Edu - replied with a one-word message.

"phenomenonooooo," he wrote.

This caught the attention of negooner96, who replied to Gaspar with a simple transfer message.

"Tell your dad to sign Bissouma," the post read.

Arsenal have been strongly linked with a move for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma this summer, but speculation has gone rather quiet in recent weeks.

As a result, this could be a ploy from the aforementioned Gunners fan to ensure Edu doesn't forget about trying to signing Bissouma as well as White in a double raid on Brighton.

It remains to be seen if the fan gets his wish, but Bissouma is thought to be open to a switch to the Emirates Stadium.
