Sign begging for forgiveness saying 'I am sorry my lov' appears on bridge above busy Leeds road

An apologetic sign begging for forgiveness has appeared on Leeds’ York Road this morning.

The sign has been hung on the railing of the bridge over the A64 York Road near Leeds Southern House Job Centre.

In black paint against a white background it simply reads: “I am sorry my lov.”

It is not known who is responsible for placing the sign or what has led to this desperate attempt for forgiveness.

However, it has sparked conversation on Leeds community group Leedsplace where users have questioned what the person has done.
