Sighting: 'Trap Queen' rapper/singer Fetty Wap performs at Parliament

Aug. 20--Fetty Wap -- the rapper/singer behind song-of-the-summer contender "Trap Queen" -- went from performing at Kylie Jenner's 18th birthday party Aug. 9 in Hollywood to performing at a birthday celebration in Chicago. Here's that sighting and many more from around town:

- Fetty Wap performed at Parliament Friday during Parliament president Matt Deichl's birthday celebration after opening for Chris Brown at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park. Dash Mihok ("Ray Donovan") was spotted Tuesday at Parliament and Chicago Cut Steakhouse.

- French Montana performed Friday at Shay. Fellow rapper Common had dinner Aug. 13 at C Chicago. Hip-hop duo Naughty By Nature was spotted Aug. 13 at Celeste and Studio Paris.

- Jennifer Hudson and her sister Julia Hudson passed out school supplies to underprivileged children and their families, with help from Staples for Students and the Entertainment Industry Foundation, during Hatch Day Friday at Kroc Center Chicago in the West Pullman neighborhood.

- "Chicago P.D." co-stars Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer and Marina Squerciati dined Saturday at RPM Steak. Restaurant co-owner Giuliana Rancic ("Giuliana and Bill") was also at RPM Steak that night dining with Todd Chrisley ("Chrisley Knows Best").

- Colombian rocker Juanes dined Saturday at Sunda. Also there Saturday, separately, was Jesse Metcalfe ("Desperate Housewives").

- David Koechner ("Anchorman") had dinner Aug. 13 at Old Town Social before his "Beer Shark Mice" improv show at iO Theater. He and Pat Finn ("The Middle") dined Saturday at at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse-Chicago.

- Actor and "Empire" director Mario Van Peebles and "Empire" producers dined Sunday at Mr. Brown's Lounge in the Hard Rock Hotel. I've dined there twice -- highly recommend the jerk chicken.

- Amandla Stenberg ("Hunger Games") appeared Saturday at ComEd's Icebox Derby Race outside the Field Museum, which encouraged young females to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math).

- Whitney Port ("The Hills") had dinner Saturday at Dolce Italian in The Godfrey Hotel.
