Oct. 26--Reality TV star Nicole Richie and Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden were in Chicago over the weekend. And thanks to Instagram, we know why the celebrity couple was in town. Here are those sightings and a few more from around Chicago:
- Richie and Madden had brunch at Rockit Bar and Grill and dinner at Giordano's on N. Rush Street Saturday. Apparently they were here to attend Chicago rapper HXLT's wedding, judging by a photo Madden posted on Instagram.
- Martha Stewart hosted an Ideas Week party Oct. 14 at The Hampton Social.
- Chris O'Donnell ("NCIS: Los Angeles") dined Oct. 18 at Chicago Cut Steakhouse.
- Ty Burrell ("Modern Family") had dinner Thursday at Sepia.
- Rapper Shaggy had dinner Friday at Cochon Volant.
- Oliver Platt ("Chicago Med") dined Oct. 11 at Le Colonial.
- Brody Jenner ("The Hills") had dinner Oct. 16 at Siena Tavern with a group that included his DJ partner Devin Lucien and Lucien's fiancee, Kaitlin Doubleday ("Empire"), and her sister Portia Doubleday ("Mr. Robot"). The group headed to Parliament afterward to watch Jenner DJ. Naughty By Nature performed Friday at Parliament.
- Christopher Abbott ("Girls") had dinner Oct. 17 at RM Champagne Salon while here screening his "James White" film at the Chicago International Film Festival.
- "Vanderpump Rules" cast members Pandora Vanderpump and Scheana Marie Shay stayed at the Talbott Hotel Oct. 12.
