Sept. 23--Just because the name of this blog is About Last Night doesn't mean everything I write about on here took place the night before. In fact, most of the content didn't take place the night before. Let's just say there was a change in direction shortly after the blog was created but we stuck with the name. On that note, here's a list of celeb sightings in Chicago, most of which didn't even take place in the past week:
- Julia Louis-Dreyfus -- who won the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series Sunday -- had lunch Sept. 12 at C Chicago.
- Trai Byers ("Empire") dined Sept. 14 at RPM Steak. The second season of "Empire" premieres tonight, but you probably already know that.
- John Cusack dined Sept. 12 at RPM Steak.
- Steve Harvey had dinner Sept. 16 at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse.
- Ludacris dined Saturday at Jellyfish. Fellow rapper Ja Rule had dinner Sept. 15 at Chicago Cut Steakhouse.
- AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Cliff Williams had lunch Sept. 16 at Le Colonial.
- "Chicago P.D." co-stars Marina Squerciati and Brian Geraghty had dinner Sept. 16 at the newly opened Cantina 1910. Steven Williams ("The X-Files") will appear on the second season of "Chicago P.D." and dined Sept. 16 at Mr. Brown's Lounge in the Hard Rock Hotel. If you ever go to Mr. Brown's, try the jerk chicken.
- Cypress Hill rapper B Real dined Sept. 13 at Jake Melnick's Corner Tap. Fellow Riot Fest performer and System of a Down rocker Shavo Odadjian had dinner Sept. 12 at Hugo's Frog Bar Fish House.
- Country music singer Brett Eldredge was spotted Friday at country music bar and restaurant Bub City.
- British electronic band Years and Years stayed and performed at the W Chicago-City Center hotel Monday while in town for their show at Park West.
