March 27--Normally this sports sightings round-up is full of mostly Chicago sports stars, but with the Fanatics Authentic show going on at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont last weekend, there is a bit more variety (and star power) in this list:
- Heisman trophy winner Jameis Winston was in town for the Fanatics show and dined March 20 at Giordano's on N. Rush Street.
- Also here for the Fanatics show were NFL Hall of Famer Joe Montana, Boston Red Sox legend Pedro Martinez, Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota, FOX Sports NFL analyst Brady Quinn and wrestling legend Ric Flair (WOOO!), all of whom dined, separately, Saturday at Gibson's Bar Steakhouse-Rosemont.
- Baseball Hall of Famer Carlton Fisk -- yes, another Fanatics show guest -- dined March 20 at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse-Rosemont.
- Bears' coach John Fox, NFL Hall of Famer Richard Dent and Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez were spotted, separately, March 13, at RPM Steak. The Blackhawks' Niklas Hjalmarsson dined March 15 at RPM Steak. Teammate Duncan Keith had dinner March 16 at Japonais by Morimoto, where he appears to be a regular.
- The Bears' Robbie Gould dined Wednesday at Chicago Cut Steakhouse. Members of the Columbus Blue Jackets, including Nick Foligno, Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov, David Savard, dined Thursday at Chicago Cut while here to face the Blackhawks.
