May 29--No new restaurants for Drake Thursday night. No, no, no. Here's that sighting and a few more from around town:
- Drake must like Chicago Cut Steakhouse. The "Best I Ever Had" and "No New Friends" rapper -- who is in town for his show Friday at the United Center -- dined there for a second time Thursday. He last dined at Chicago Cut in August.
- Director George Lucas ("Star Wars") had dinner Thursday on the patio at RL.
- Chance the Rapper was on hand Sunday at Virgin Hotels Chicago to support friend Vashtie, who was DJing at the hotel's rooftop lounge, Cerise.
- Jim Belushi ("According to Jim") had lunch May 21 at Gibson's Bar Steakhouse-Chicago.
- Michael Madsen ("Kill Bill") hosted a screening of his classic film, "Reservoir Dogs," Monday at the screening room in the Public Chicago Hotel. Afterward, the Chicago native had dinner in the hotel's Pump Room.
- James Denton ("Desperate Housewives") dined Thursday at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse-Chicago while in town to run the Harry Caray 5K. The former Harry Caray's waiter will host the race after party Saturday at Harry Caray's Tavern at Navy Pier, where he is an investor.
- Josh Segarra ("Sirens") threw out the first pitch at Monday's Cubs game at Wrigley Field. He was accompanied by Ana Villafane, who co-stars with him in the Gloria and Emilio Estefan-inspired "On Your Feet!" musical, which opens Tuesday at the Oriental Theatre.
