April 09--The Bulls' Derrick Rose appears to have taken a liking to one of the city's newer steakhouses. Here's that sighting and a few more from around the Chicago area:
- Rose was spotted Monday at RPM Steak. It's at least the third time the former NBA MVP has visited the steakhouse this year. Teammate Jimmy Butler had dinner March 27 at Roka Akor. Fellow Bulls Aaron Brooks and Nikola Mirotic dined March 29 and 30, respectively, at Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak and Stone Crab. Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau had a late dinner Friday at Joe's.
- Injured Blackhawk Patrick Kane dined March 26 at Joe's. The St. Louis Blues' TJ Oshie, the St. Louis Cardinals' Adam Wainwright and Cardinals' manager Mike Matheny were there separately, Saturday. The Cardinals' Matt Adams, Jordan Walden, Seth Maness and Lance Lynn watched Monday's NCAA Men's basketball championship at Public House.
- The Cubs' Jon Lester dined Monday at RPM Italian. Former White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen attended the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Man and Woman of the Year Kickoff Celebration fundraiser Wednesday at Ditka's restaurant in the Tremont Chicago Hotel.
- ESPN basketball analysts Jay Williams and Jalen Rose had drinks March 30 at Tavern on Rush. The Arizona Cardinals' Michael Floyd dined March 30 at Tavern on Rush.
- The Detroit Pistons' Caron Butler visited Foodlife in Water Tower Place mall Friday.
- Former Bear J'Marcus Webb had dinner March 29 at Harry Caray's Italian Steakhouse-Rosemont.
- The Fire's Harry Shipp and Eric Gehrig sang karaoke Tuesday at Bub City. "This is what happens when you request Mellencamp, and they blindside you with Backstreet," Gehrig wrote on Instagram.
- Former WWE Superstar Shannon Moore hosted the Wrestlemania watch party March 29 at The Squared Circle.
