July 17--Members of the Backstreet Boys were in Chicago last weekend to perform at Tunnel. Never heard of Tunnel? Me neither, until now. Here is where they were spotted when they weren't at Tunnel -- which it turns out is located on the second floor of John Barleycorn in River North -- as well as a few other sightings from around town:
- AJ McLean was spotted Sunday at IO in The Godfrey Hotel and July 10 with his Backstreet Boys bandmates Nick Carter and Howie Dorough at Chicago Cut Steakhouse. The three Backstreet Boys members also dined at Chicago Cut in March. Colin Jost ("Saturday Night Live") had dinner Wednesday at Chicago Cut.
- Taraji P. Henson ("Empire") picked up juice from Owen and Alchemy Saturday. Ne-Yo -- who is serving as a music producer on "Empire" -- was on hand July 9 for Erykah Badu's Taste of Chicago after-party at The Shrine.
- R. Kelly hung out July 10 at Vertigo Sky Lounge in the Dana Hotel and Spa.
- Rapper Ludacris dined Tuesday at Giordano's on N. Rush Street and watch UFC Wednesday at Municipal Bar and Dining Co. The Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon and Ghostface Killah dined Monday at the Pump Room in Public Chicago Hotel.
- Chris Colfer ("Glee") dined July 10 at Nellcote.
- Corey Feldman ("Lost Boys") partied July 9 at The Underground.
- Members of Saint Motel hung out July 8 at Bordel with Weezer's Rivers Cuomo and July 7 at RM Champagne Salon.
