It's difficult to know where to begin making sense of this, though the obvious place is at Lady T's sickbed, from which we imagining her moaning feebly "Knightley... Why couldn't it be Knightley..?"
As for the conspiracy theory angle Stone's involvement would obviously suggest, let's work on the hypothesis that the old girl didn't act alone in the milk snatching business - a scenario which could lead to a supporting role for, say, Orlando Bloom, who would be stationed on whatever was the 1971 Department of Education's equivalent of a grassy knoll.
