MANSA: On the expiry of 7 days police remand of gangster Lawrance Bishnoi, he was produced in the court at Mansa at about 10pm on Tuesday in noted Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala's killing case.
Bishnoi was brought from Kharar under heavy security in bullet proof vehicle. The police told the court about the investigations made in the last 7 days and it is learnt the police apprised that more information has to be known from him and demanded remand for 10 more days. It is learnt that 35 pages report was submitted in the court. The court extended the police remand by 6 days till June 27.
Earlier he was taken to Mansa civil hospital where his medical examination was conducted.
Earlier, a team of Punjab police had brought Lawrance Bishnoi from Delhi to Mansa and was produced on the wee hours of June 15 at the court where the court had sent him to 7 days police remand.
Lawrance Bishnoi apart from Canada based ganster Satinderjit Singh known as Goldy Brar is said to be master conspirator of the killing of Sidhu Moosewala. Delhi police special cell had taken Bishnoi on remand from Tihar jail from where Punjab police got his custody in transit remand.
The Delhi police has also arrested two of the shooters who are claimed to have fired at Moosewala and Punjab police wants to know more about them.
