Sidharth Shukla passes away: Rakhi Sawant is ‘shocked’; reveals she used to always support him - Exclusive

TV and Bollywood actor Sidharth Shukla passed away after suffering a massive heart attack on Thursday. He was best known for his role in the long-running TV serial 'Balika Vadhu', and as the winner of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ season 13, hosted by Salman Khan.

Soon after his untimely demise, ETimes got in touch with Rakhi Sawant, who was there with him in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. The actress was ‘shocked’ to learn about the unfortunate development, and went, “Oh my god, I am shocked. I just woke up, I cannot believe that this has happened. I am shocked. We met during 'Bigg Boss'. Whenever he used to anything, he used to tell me. When he did 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa', he asked me if he should do it. Even before he did 'Balika Vadhu' he used to ask me for advice; I used to always support him. Life is so unpredictable. This is beyond shocking.”

Sidharth was 40 years old and is survived by his mother and two sisters. A Cooper Hospital spokesperson told IANS that the actor was "brought dead" in the morning.

Soon after the news of his demise broke, his fans and friends from the industry shared emotional messages on social media. Even Bollywood celebs like Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani, Sidharth Malhotra, Vicky Kaushal, Malaika Arora, Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh, and others offered condolences to his family.

Shukla was known for being fit and had had even won the reality show, 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7'. He also hosted 'Savdhaan India' and 'India's Got Talent'. He was a part of the Bollywood film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ too, alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan.
