A slow-moving freight train near Allentown, Pa., blocked some runners for about 10 minutes when it crossed the race course of the Lehigh Valley Health Network Via Marathon.

Runner Charlie Young told the Easton Express-Times that it was his last shot at making next year's Boston Marathon. He missed the qualifying mark by eight minutes.
