MYSURU: Former Union minister and BJP MP V Srinivasa Prasad on Saturday asked the Union government to sponsor a trip to Afghanistan for opposition leader Siddaramaiah. He should see for himself the behaviour of Taliban before comparing their administration to PM Modi's governance, he stated.
Speaking to reporters, he suggested that the Centre send Siddaramaiah to Afghanistan for one month so he can study the Talibani culture and its governance there.
"Both ruling party and opposition parties play their own role in a democratic, parliamentary and federal set-up. The leader of opposition must speak with responsibility and carefully while speaking about PM Narendra Modi. He is issuing irresponsible statements against Modi," he stated. tnn
