Sickening 'go home' graffiti sprayed on Leith pub targeting Swedish owners

A Leith pub has been targeted by a lone vandal who spray-painted graffiti targeting the Swedish owners.

The man was caught on CCTV spraying the words "go home" onto the window of Joseph Pearce's bar on Sunday night.

The popular Leith watering hole on Elm Row is owned by the Boda Bar group, which was founded by Swedish natives Anna and Mike Christopherson in 2014.

Taking to social media, Anna appealed for anyone with information to come forward in a bid to catch the vandal responsible.

Sharing CCTV footage, she said: "Joseph Pearce’s got targeted with racist hate crime last night. If anyone recognise the person on the video please pm me."

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
