Three men were punched to the floor by a gang of thugs in shocking scenes of violence outside a city centre pub.
Disturbing footage of the incident at The Wheatsheaf, on the Smithfield estate in the Northern Quarter, was shared with the Manchester Evening News.
The video shows three men outside the pub door, appearing intoxicated and shouting loudly.
One man in a red t-shirt appears so drunk he can't keep his trousers up and falls into the street.
Suddenly, four young men in shorts and t-shirt appear and begin attacking the older trio.
All three suffer sickening blows to the head, including one punch which appears to knocked the victim out cold.
He falls to the floor, hitting his head on the brick wall and appears to remains unconscious throughout the two-minute video.

In the final seconds, a police car arrives and three officers are seen running after the younger men.
One Smithfield resident told the M.E.N: "The fight went on for a several minutes.
"This happened within a few feet of people's homes."

A Manchester council spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we are working with our partners in Greater Manchester Police following a report of violent disorder outside the Wheatsheaf, and we will continue to work with residents in the area to address their concerns."
Robert Ashton and Lisa Booth, who run The Wheatsheaf, said the fight was a 'rare and isolated incident which was dealt with to the best of [their] abilities'.
In a statement, they told the M.E.N: "On Sunday, August 4, at 7.30pm, six males in their 20s came into the pub, 20 minutes later three males in their 40s came into the pub.
"The two groups joined each other at a table. After 20 minutes an argument broke out, the three older males were asked to leave.
"The three men left the venue, but continued to shout abuse at the other group. The front door was locked to keep both parties separate.

"The group inside the pub then noticed the side door was open and left. The two groups clashed again outside where a fight broke out, this lasted around 15 seconds, then the police arrived and gave chase.
"The older gentlemen left without speaking to the police. Police viewed the CCTV and took statements."
Wheatsheaf bosses said they have had 'a few incidents', with one neighbour complaining about noise but claim they have the 'full support' of police, council and the wider residential community.

The M.E.N. asked Greater Manchester Police for a statement on the incident on Tuesday (August 4).
Tonight (Friday), the force said: "On August 7, 2019, police received a report stating that a fight had taken place on Oak Street shortly before midnight on Sunday 4 August 2019.
"The confrontation, which was between two groups of men, began in the Wheatsheaf pub before spilling out onto the street.
"No injuries linked to the incident have been reported to police."
The GMP statement made no reference to arrests.
