Coronation Street fans were left unsettled tonight as Geoff Metcalfe made incredibly creepy remark about his mother tonight.
As he popped into the Rovers to buy a bottle of wine, he left barmaid Jenny Connor feeling very uncomfortable as he said that she looked like his mum.
Jenny made a face at the comment and Geoff made an odd attempt to reassure her - by insisting that his mum has been beautiful and that no woman had ever measured up to her.
He then went on to leer at Jenny as she turned around to grab the card machine.
Just when you thought Geoff couldn't get any creepier...
After Geoff bought a bottle of wine, Jenny reluctantly asked how he was keeping.
"Oh, busy, busy, busy," he replied. It's very important to look after one's mental health in these weird and wonderful times."
"Well, we try our best Geoffrey," Jenny responded jovially.
Geoff smirked and said: "Yeah, my mum used to call me that when I were in trouble. You've a look of my mother, actually."
Jenny's smile dropped and he said: "Don't be offended, she was a thing of rare beauty, my mother. A wold whistle with every step."
His eyes glanced down at Jenny as she turned around to grab the card machine as he leered.
"No other woman's matched up really," he continued. "Except Yasmeen, really."
His creepy comments left some fans wondering whether he may have either abused his mum or was Weatherfield's answer to Norman Bates.
Will we discover more about his twisted relationship with his mum in the future?
