Here is the sickening footage that shows a girl-led teen gang of nine targeting and attacking an innocent jogger during his daily exercise routine in a south Dublin park.
The victim at the centre of the attack, a young man in his 20s, was surrounded by the teen attackers during a jog in Tymon Park before being forced to the ground where he is kicked repeatedly.
Dublin Live understands that the man did not contact Gardai about the unprovoked attack in Tallaght over fears of a repeat incident.
The shocking video shows the victim in a grey hoodie and shorts being surrounded by the gang's members and trying to defend himself against two of them who are throwing punches.
He then tries to run away from the group but is bundled to the ground where he is stamped and kicked on as he lay helpless in the late night attack.
A source told Dublin Live that the victim's family confirmed the man is okay but didn't want to go to Gardai about it.
The source said: "Tallaght Garda Station were contacted by various members of the public to inform them of the attacks.
"Gardai said they were aware of it but it hadn't been reported.
"An increased patrolling operation has been put in place in the park because of it.
"The victim is understood to be in his early 20s and was out for a jog when he was innocently targeted.
"It was an unprovoked attack involving eight young boys and one girl.
"The attackers are understood to be in their mid-teens and have caused trouble in the area in recent weeks."
Regulars to the park have been warned not to exercise or walk in the area in the evening or night time.
The source continued: "The park has been a saviour for people's mental health during the lockdowns.
"People are being alerted to be cautious and to look after themselves.
"They are also advised to phone 999 in all cases where there is an immediate or present danger to a person or property."
