Sick troll bombards family of Scots girl fighting brain tumour with disgusting messages

A twisted troll is bombarding a family with sick social media messages mocking their dying daughter.

Seven-year-old Kiara Buonomo has battled a brain tumour for more than a year and only has months to live.

Her family have posted an online account documenting her brave fight for survival but have become the target of a series of grossly offensive posts.

Kiara’s mother, Natasha Kinlan, has complained to police and has now spoken out in a bid to help catch the sick individual responsible.

Natasha, 30, from Springburn, Glasgow, said the mystery troll’s hate-filled messages are destroying her and her family.

She said: “It’s sickened us. We have enough to think about without the extra stress of this.”

Little Kiara was diagnosed with brain cancer in January last year and despite undergoing a brain operation to clear away most of the cancer, doctors recently told her family there is nothing more they can do.

Natasha said: “Kiara was diagnosed aged six after going into hospital with a shaky hand. The doctors found a five-centimetre brain mass and removed 95 per cent of it during a 13-hour operation.

“This year, unfortunately, despite her ringing the bell at the hospital to say she was in recovery, we were told it had returned and was now at stage four. Doctors have told us she has only months to live.”

Natasha and her partner Aldo Buonomo started to receive sick messages from the mystery sender shortly after Kiara’s diagnosis last year and they have continued ever since.

Natasha said: “A couple of weeks after Kiara was diagnosed in January last year, we began to receive pictures on Snapchat saying ‘hurry up and die’ and they told us we were wasting NHS money.

“They were calling Kiara ugly when she is clearly beautiful.”

Another upsetting message said: “Ugly c*** Kiara will be deed soon.” The messages have continued over the last 12 months and have now become more sexually explicit in nature.

Natasha said: “The way they are talking now is vile, about rape and other things. It is horrible.

“I want these people brought to justice.”

One of the messages suggested raping Kiara’s nine-year-old sister Kayla as well as running over her wee brother AJay, 3. Natasha said: “Kiara’s big sister Kayla has overheard conversations about the messages and was really upset. It’s making us feel sick.”

The last message was received on Wednesday night when Kiara was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation.

Natasha said: “Kiara had fluid on the brain last week and we didn’t know if she was going to make it. We received the message when she was in theatre.

“The person sending it clearly has something wrong with them.
