Sick thugs filmed the moment they fly-kicked a pensioner into a river sending him falling into the water.
The disturbing footage shows a 74-year-old man standing on the bank of the Mersey when a man dressed in a black gilet sneaks up behind him and kicks him with force.
We have chosen not to publish the footage out of respect to the man and his family.
The vile thugs then flee the scene as the video captures the pensioner falling face first into the water, the Liverpool Echo reports.
The incident happened on April 25 and luckily two unknown women sprung to action and pulled him out of the water.
Cheshire Police are appealing to both witnesses to come forward and enquiries are ongoing to find those responsible.

The elderly man sustained a cut to his face during the incident, after banging his head when he was knocked into the water.
He walked home "freezing cold" where he told his family who then reported it police.
Sergeant Mark Spaven, of Warrington Local Policing Unit, said: “This was a shocking and upsetting incident which has understandably left the gentleman shaken.
“He returned home freezing cold and had sustained a cut to his face due to banging his head as he fell into the water.
“We are determined to find those responsible and I am urging anyone who has any information or believes they know who did this to come forward.
“I also want to appeal to the two women who thankfully came to his rescue to please get in touch with us as you could have information which could help our investigation.”
