Sick Madeleine McCann Tinder profile 'with daddy issues' operating in Glasgow

A twisted troll has set up a fake Tinder dating account featuring missing child Madeleine McCann .

The online monster is making light of the plight of girl, who disappeared while on holiday with her family in the Algarve, Portugal, in May 2007.

The distasteful profile is coming up in searches on the app from those seeking dates in Glasgow .

Using a picture of Madeleine, the profile is just named 'Maddie' and claims to be for an 18-year-old woman.

The sick profile reads: "just want some loving, I have daddy issues, here for a good yin".

The shocking profile was discovered by a 21-year-old from Renfrewshire , who did not wish to be named.

The profile appeared in his 'matches' via a search for women aged between 18 and 30 and living within 30 miles of his home.

He said: "It's a pretty horrible thing to do.

"I know there's a lot of chat right now about Madeleine McCann after the Netflix documentary, but I think this has just gone too far.

"For someone to go to these lengths to make a joke out of a missing young girl is just shocking, it's sad really.
