Sick flasher wearing balaclava who exposed himself to two women being hunted by police

A flasher wearing a balaclava who exposed himself to two women is being hunted by police.

The pervert struck as the women were walking home along Greenloanings in Kirkcaldy, Fife, at around 9pm on Saturday.

Police appealing for help tracing the man said the incident was "incredibly frightening" for the victims.

The women heard a noise coming from behind them and, on turning around, the man exposed himself to them. He then fled the scene.

Officers said the suspect is described as wearing what looked like a balaclava and dark clothing.

Detective Inspector Chris Dow, from Police Scotland, said: “Although nobody is physically hurt in these incidents, they can be incredibly frightening.

“The man left the area after several seconds, running away from them down an alleyway.

“It is vital that we can trace this man. Anyone with any information is asked to come forward.”

Anyone with any information on the incident is urged to contact Police via 101, quoting crime reference number CF0021470221 for Saturday, February 13.

Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given in confidence.
