Sick dognappers have left a twisted ransom note for a heartbroken pet owner.
Jack Russell ‘Pupkiss’ went missing on Wednesday from his home in Dublin’s Neilstown.
His owners have been searching the area continuously but on Thursday were left shocked when a ransom note was placed on the windscreen of their car.
The note, which demanded €25 in coins for the dog’s safe return, also made some sick claims about what would happen to the defenceless animal if the ransom was not paid.
Asking for help in finding him, Pupkiss’ owner Susanne said on Wednesday: “Hey friends and family just want to ask could you keep an eye out for my little Jack Russell he went for a little walk this morning and he hasn’t come home.
“If you brought him in..you can let them back out I’ll give the whistle. His name is Pupkiss. Neilstown, Clondalkin TIA.”
She continued: “Still no sign of Pupkiss. He will be fretting please please keep your eye out. He is our little boy.
“He is MICROCHIPPED and his big brother Bobby keeps pining for him badly. Thank you all.
“We cycled the whole of Neilstown last night calling his name but no luck.”
Then on Thursday she shared an update and offered a reward to anyone who could help with the safe return of her beloved dog.
According to Susanne, local gardai will be checking cameras in the area.
The vulgar letter reads: “Ransom demand - we have your dog.
“We want 25 euros (in untraceable coins). If our demands are not met by Friday..you will hear Trixie howl all the way from Moorefield, it’s gonna be a ruff night for Trix.
“PS wait for further instructions.”
