A pervert who terrorised a 14-year-old girl by groping her on a busy bus was jailed yesterday for 20 months.
Tharaneetharan Manikkavasagar, 28, fled the First Bus in Glasgow city centre after the sexual assault.
The Sri Lankan national also pounced on three other women, aged 18, 28 and 30, on buses in Glasgow between June and October last year.
Manikkavasagar pled guilty at the city’s sheriff court to the sex assaults.
Sheriff Andrew Cubie jailed Manikkavasagar for 20 months and extended his sentence so he will be under supervision for 12 months after release.
He also placed him on the sex offenders’ register indefinitely.
Sheriff Cubie said: “This was a sustained course of conduct.
“These are upsetting and undermined the confidence of the victims on safe transport.”
