Sick arcade claw grabber 'using REAL DOGS as prizes' spark animal rights anger

Video seeming to show live dogs inside a claw grabber machine has prompted calls for Chinese authorities to act.

A clip appears to show a number of dogs inside a machine as a metal claw descends on them.

Animal rights activists have voiced their outrage of the footage.

It is not clear where the video was filmed, but it was shared online by respected biologist Daniel Schneider.

He told Mirror Online the footage had been sent to him, but he has seen "similar games".

In the video, a man can be seen stooping and picking up a live dog - although it is not clear if it was a "prize".

After watching the clip, which is believed to have been shot in China, Elisa Allen, director of animal rights group PETA, described it as a "matter of life and death".
