Siam Steel International Plc wants to offer modular building systems and bathroom pods in the domestic market after manufacturing and exporting to overseas territories for two decades.
The company, through its specialised business unit Lucky Building System Co, says its modular building system can address the real estate industry's problems of construction quality and labour shortages.
Kitichai Kunanantakul, managing director of Lucky Building System, said its modular building system is designed for both temporary and permanent construction solutions. It hastens the construction and installation process and conforms to international construction standards. It is suitable for various projects such as condominiums, hotels, serviced apartments, single houses, or even one of the smallest units in a building, bathrooms, via its prefabricated bathroom pod, he added.
Production in Thailand, based in Phuchao Saming Phray in Samut Prakan province, will be adjusted to Thai market trends while maintaining its international standard.
Mr Kitichai said the company is keen to deploy innovations to reform the real estate industry in Thailand, in terms of controlling the quality of its products and managing labour-related issues on sites. Construction and installation of its products is swift, fast, precise and safe.
The company aims to penetrate the major real estate players in the market by targeting the hotel sector and developers working in the horizontal construction field including single housing project.
Lucky Building System is offering instant homes that answer the needs of the market, said Mr Kitichai.
In addition to exporting to several countries including Japan, Australia, India, and Bahrain, the company is also keen to expand into Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam.
