Sia covers ‘Fly Me to The Moon’ in stunning music video for Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker

Sia, the world-renowned singer and songwriter, released a cover of ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ on Thursday as part of a collaboration with Final Fantasy 14.

Endwalker, the next expansion for Final Fantasy 14, directly involves the moon itself in its storyline, so the award-winning artist performed the classic song in a dazzling new music video. Just in time for Endwalker’s  early access release too

It’s likely to tug at the heartstrings of any longtime Final Fantasy 14 player too. Several critical moments from the game’s decade-long storyline are all over the music video, from the liberation of Ala Mhigo in Stormblood  to the Warrior of Darkness making a grand entrance in Shadowbringers.

It’s a stunner, regardless of whether you’re familiar with Final Fantasy 14  or not. Take a listen in the link below, or watch the whole thing on  Youtube.

The gaming community as a whole is buzzing over Final Fantasy 14: Endwalker  right now. A group of fans created a hilarious  anime opening theme for the expansion, while the 2021 CEO Fighting Game Championships created a “retirement home” at the event. Safe to say that a lot of people are excited for this!
