Si Woo Kim and Charl Schwartzel have completely forgotten how to shake hands

Breaking his putter might be the second worst offense Si Woo Kim committed at the Masters on Friday.

He and Charl Schwartzel had one of the worst botched handshakes you’ll ever see. Clearly, no one knew what they wanted to do here. It was absolutely heartbreaking to see.

Kim is leaving the green here and he goes to give Schwartzel a handshake. But it looks like Schwartzel was ready for a fist bump because, obviously, you know, global pandemic. We shouldn’t be shaking hands anyway.

Clearly, Kim wasn’t prepared. He tried to switch it up, but then Schwartzel switched to the handshake. And then, it just looked like they were both playing rock, paper, scissors from there.

You absolutely hate to see it. This is tragic. And just further proof that handshakes should be banned.

Honestly? I feel them. I don’t think I’ve shaken hands with anyone on anything since February of last year. It’s been that long. I’d probably botch a good handshake, too.

But, again, we shouldn’t be shaking hands in the midst of a global pandemic, anyway.

Normalize the elbow bump. It’s easier and way more responsible right now.
