Si Ferry insists Jamie O'Hara's controversial Celtic and Rangers claim is nonsense.
The talkSPORT pundit baited Scottish football fans this week by stating the Glasgow giants would struggle to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
And he maintained basement boys Fulham would win the Premiership title in Scotland.
But Open Goal host Ferry isn't buying it, pointing out that O'Hara, who finished his career at Billericay Town, has no idea the demands of playing for Celtic or Rangers.
He told Go Radio : "Jamie O'Hara's never played for a Celtic or Rangers where he needs to win every week.
"He doesn't know what it takes to come and play up here.
"The game up is here is so much harder than they think. We've seen it this year with guys like Ajeti, Duffy, Elyounoussi, Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar - who were all good Premier League football players.
"When you think of Kranjcar and Barton, it's the pace thing. I think that's why Scottish guys do so well when they go down to England.
"They've grown up here with that fast-paced game.
"When you go down there you get that extra time on the ball and think: 'This is brilliant'.
"You look at Stuart Armstrong against Liverpool, he was one of the best players on the pitch for me.
"I've no doubt that's because he's played up here. You need to make quick decisions up here.
"If you want two or three touches on the ball, they'll take it off you. Whereas, down there, you get time to pick a pass.
"And he (Armstrong) was doing that the other night, he looked a standout for me."
Ferry admitted he'd rather watch Premiership clashes over most Premier League matches.
He's adamant the English top flight's reputation as the world's "quickest" league is a myth.
"I watch Premier League games and I turn them off.
"It's so boring, so boring. People who say it's the quickest league in the world? Absolute nonsense.
"Give me Ross County vs Hibs any day over a Leicester."
